Parent Notice and Consent
Please read this notice before creating a profile or private access link for a child.
Effective September 7, 2026What you are authorizing
By creating a child profile, you confirm that you are the child’s parent or legal guardian, or are otherwise authorized to provide consent. You authorize LearnLox to collect and use the child’s first name, age, avatar, learning progress, points, rewards, game activity, and limited voice-result metadata to provide the private learning service described in the Privacy Policy.
Voice processing
If microphone practice is used, a short recording is sent to OpenAI for momentary processing. LearnLox does not store the raw recording or a full transcript. The child can continue without voice scoring if microphone access is denied or the family prefers not to use it.
Who receives information
Vercel, Upstash, and OpenAI process limited information as hosting, storage, and voice providers. Information is not sold, used for behavioral advertising, posted publicly, or shared with strangers. Family competition is visible only to members of that same private family account.
Your choices and ongoing rights
You may review the information in the parent dashboard, correct profile details, disable microphone access, revoke a child’s private link, stop future collection, withdraw consent, or request deletion. Consent is voluntary, but the core profile and progress data are needed to provide persistent lessons.
Giving consent
Checking the parent-consent box during invited-family registration records your acceptance of this notice, the Privacy Policy, and the Terms. Do not create a child profile if you do not consent. Contact LearnLox to withdraw consent or request a copy or deletion of saved child information.
